Final Show...
I'm about to head to the theatre for our closing performance. I should be excited and thrilled. Instead, I'm nervous and upset. Last night, we got off to a good start, and our CD player died AGAIN. I had to come out TWICE to stop the show. Those who know me are probably just thinking that I wanted to be on stage too, but alas, I would rather be singing than saying "as you can tell, we are having some massive technical difficulties, so please bear with us."
Thankfully, the audience was warm and receptive and we finally got ONE CD player up and running. It was really ridiculous. Every time I knew there was a music cue, I'd hold my breath and stop my heart, hoping that it would start. The poor kids were likely doing the same thing too. But man, am I ever proud of them. They carried themselves like little professionals and the only one who broke down in tears was me (in private of course).
So, I'm getting ready and decide to spritz on a little perfume, even though it's technically a no-no backstage. I chose the perfume "Happy". Only because I don't think Clinique makes "Stressed out and Pissed Off." I think it would be a huge seller.
If you're reading this on the 28th, please cross your fingers for us.

Daisie - I am amazed at your ability to multitask and keep it all together. I only wish I could have seen the show!
