Uh...not quite.

So, had some students in my office the other day. They were telling me how they had had a sex ed class that afternoon. I asked who taught it, and they told me their male teacher.

Being the understanding, unintimidating, hip staff member that I am, I told the girls that if they ever had any questions that they didn't feel comfortable asking him, that they could ask me, no problems.

One of the girls said she did have a question. She wasn't sure if she knew what the word "abstinence" meant.

Fair enough. I asked her what she thought it meant.

Her answer?

"I think it's where one person does nothing, and the other person does all the work."

Hmmm...that might throw a wrench in the plans of the advocates.
